Terms of Service
These placeholder terms describe how the Hangar Connect network is intended to operate as a discovery and communication service between aircraft owners and pilots.
Nature of the service
Hangar Connect provides aircraft discovery, networking, and communication tools. Hangar Connect does not own, operate, dispatch, or exercise operational control over any aircraft, and does not provide air transportation, pilots, or flight instructors.
User-provided information
Aircraft listings, rates, availability, equipment descriptions, pilot certificates, ratings, flight times, and endorsements are provided by users. Hangar Connect does not verify this information unless a verification program is expressly offered in the future.
Independent arrangements
Any aircraft rental arrangement, rate, insurance requirement, checkout requirement, or agreement is negotiated and entered into independently between the aircraft owner or provider and the pilot. Hangar Connect is not a party to those arrangements and does not collect rental payments.
No approval or qualification
Hangar Connect does not determine airworthiness and does not approve, certify, or qualify any pilot to operate any aircraft. Comparisons between a pilot profile and an owner's listed preferences are informational only. The aircraft owner makes the final decision.
Accounts and subscriptions
Placeholder terms covering account eligibility, membership tiers, billing, cancellation, and refunds.
Prohibited conduct
Placeholder terms covering misrepresentation of credentials, harassment, commercial solicitation, and misuse of the messaging system.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hangar Connect has no liability for any act, omission, payment, damage, loss, injury, or claim arising out of or related to any aircraft, rental arrangement, payment, insurance, maintenance, airworthiness, or flight operation. Hangar Connect is not a party to any rental, lease, or other agreement between pilots and owners. Our role is limited to matching pilots with aircraft owners and enabling initial communication; all aircraft use, payment, and operational decisions are made entirely by the parties involved.
