Community Guidelines
Hangar Connect works because owners and pilots deal with each other honestly and directly. These placeholder guidelines describe the behavior we expect.
Represent yourself accurately
List your real certificates, ratings, flight times, endorsements, and currency. Misrepresenting credentials is the fastest way to lose access to the network.
List aircraft honestly
Describe equipment, avionics, condition, rates, and availability accurately, and keep listings current. Pause or remove a listing when the aircraft is unavailable.
Communicate respectfully
Keep messages professional and on topic. No harassment, discrimination, or unsolicited commercial solicitation.
Keep decisions where they belong
Owners decide who flies their aircraft. Pilots decide which aircraft they are comfortable operating. Do not pressure another member for a decision.
Report problems
Use the block and report tools in any conversation. Placeholder section describing enforcement and appeals.
